This was equally true with God. This Sunday we will be looking at the end of John's prologue, John 1:14-18, and see why Jesus was so critical to having a proper understanding of who God is.

John 1:6-13 Light and darkness crop up frequently in the Bible as metaphors, and we all use them similarly as well. For example, do you prefer to be "enlightened" or "kept in the dark" regarding an important issue that affects you? An important issue that affects us all is our spiritual condition--that which impacts our eternal destiny. We'll see how God has provided sufficient light for all to see in His son, Jesus Christ, and how we may respond differently to that light.
