WHY SHOULD I JOIN A BRANCH GROUP?
BRANCH Groups provide an opportunity for follow-up on questions or discussion of the Sunday Message and where you can connect with others in a way where love, accountability and needs are freely shared. It is a place where your faith in Jesus Christ can be developed in a smaller setting with others looking for the same thing. It also provides a group of individuals who can reach out to others in our community who do not yet know Christ.
WHAT AM I COMMITTING MYSELF TO?
Every BRANCH Group participant commits themselves to becoming a better disciple of Jesus Christ and to helping others become better disciples of Jesus Christ. This will involve a commitment to the group in attendance, prayer, participation in the study and discussion, fellowship, service and outreach together.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A BRANCH GROUP?
Each BRANCH group is designed to meet for 90 minutes. Though each group may differ in how they do things, they each will include three basic elements: a gathering time (may include greeting, refreshment, welcome, opening prayer, singing, Scripture reading, word of thanksgiving/praise), a sharing time (share a testimony, discussion on current study) and some caring time (praying together, sharing about service projects and/or outreach to others).
